Description

Regulating firearms by educational institution.  Provides that the board of visitors or other governing body of an educational institution has the power to establish rules and regulations for the possession or transportation of firearms or ammunition on property owned or operated by the institution. It is extremely disappointing to find that my Delegate would represent Woodbridge in such a manner that shows a total lack of regard for civil rights, historical law, and philosophical and religious thought. Perhaps Delegate Torian also believes that college students have no right to exercise religion, peaceably assemble, or be secure in their persons and effects. It would be desirable for our state delegates to cease in efforts that allow localities and ivory towers to legally set up their own miniature dictatorships.
