Description

Protective orders; animals.  Provides that a court may include in a protective order provisions granting to the petitioner the care, custody, and control of an animal owned, possessed, or kept by either the petitioner, the respondent, or a child residing in the household. Amends § 16.1-253, § 16.1-253.1, § 16.1-253.4, § 16.1-279.1, § 19.2-152.10, § 19.2-152.8, § 19.2-152.9, of the Code of Virginia. Read the Bill »
