Description

General Assembly; continuance of case. Allows a continuance as a matter of right to any party to an action or proceeding in any court or other tribunal who has, prior to or during the session of the General Assembly, employed or retained to represent him in such proceeding an attorney who is or becomes an officer, employee, or member of the General Assembly or an employee of the Division of Legislative Services. Currently, for a party to continue such proceeding the attorney must be an officer, employee, or member of the General Assembly or an employee of the Division of Legislative Services.
