A BILL to amend the Code of Virginia by adding in Chapter 2 of Title 22.1 a section numbered 22.1-20.1, relating to interscholastic activities.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1.  That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding in Chapter 2 of Title 22.1 a section numbered 22.1-20.1 as follows:

§ 22.1-20.1. Liaison for interscholastic activities.

The Board of Education shall act as liaison between local school divisions and any nonprofit corporation founded in Virginia in 1913 that currently organizes and governs interscholastic activities among the public high schools, in order to help resolve any disputes that may arise between the parties.
