Comments
As a member of an Electoral Board, I feel strongly that all meetings -- including canvasses and the provisional vote precinct -- of an Electoral Board should be held in public, with only narrow exceptions for executive session (such as when discussing personnel matters).
The canvass should be open to any member of the public, including representatives of the news media, and not only open to official representatives of candidates or political parties.
Elections should be as transparent as possible.
Del. Mark Cole why do you think HB63 is important? I am not clear why this bill is being introduced and who please identify who it will impact the most?
