Dominic Lahar writes:

This is deplorable. Every Republican senator who voted for this bill should be dragged on national television to explain the ethics of pushing through this partisan, segregationist legislation while an African American senator and civil rights leader, Henry Marsh, was attending President Obama's inauguration on Martin Luther King day. This speaks volumes about the character of Republicans in Virginia's senate, volumes about a the Governor who does not immediately refuse to sign it in to law. It also speaks volumes about how little Republican leaders care for minorities in the US. Pay close attention to these bigots. Vote them out of office.

Mike Nelson writes:

If this legislation passes the House of Delegates, if Chris Peace votes for this legislation, He will never get my vote again. Stand up and do the right thing............vote this garbage down.

Gregg J writes:

Bottom line, if a politician needs to rely on gerrymandering to be elected...they don't deserve to be elected. This bill has corruption written all over it.
