Description

Counterfeit cigarettes; penalties. Provides that any person who knowingly distributes or possesses with the intent to distribute counterfeit cigarettes where the amount is fewer than 10 cartons is guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor for a first offense and a Class 6 felony for a second or subsequent offense. If the amount is 10 or more cartons, the offense is a Class 6 felony. Read the Bill »
