Description

Pharmacy; collaborative agreements. Clarifies parties with whom a pharmacist may enter into a collaborative agreement; provides that a patient who does not wish to participate in a collaborative procedure must notify the prescriber of his decision; and provides that a prescriber may elect to have a patient not participate in a collaborative agreement by contacting the pharmacist or his designated alternative pharmacist or by documenting his decision on the patient's prescription. The bill also clarifies that collaborative agreements may be in writing or in electronic form. Read the Bill »
