Comments
The Housing Coalition strongly supports this bill that would expand the authority of any locality in the state to adopt an affordable dwelling unit ordinance. Currently, each locality must seek GA approval for this type of program. ADU's " encourage the construction and continued existence of moderately priced housing by providing for optional increases in density in order to reduce land costs for such moderately priced housing." This bill died in subcommittee.
