Description

Child care providers; background checks for eligibility for child care subsidy payments. Requires any person seeking to enter into a contract with the Department of Social Services or a local department of social services for the provision of child care services for which subsidy payments may be paid to undergo a background check, and authorizes the dissemination of criminal history record information to the Department of Social Services or local department of social services for the purpose of screening such individuals. Amends § 19.2-389, § 63.2-1725, of the Code of Virginia. Read the Bill »
