Sundays are the only day most people can get out in nature, will they now have to dodge arrows. Let these people hunt with the rest of the people that use Guns, so they can hunt each other. I'm sure this law will sit well with the yuppie voters/joggers that like to jog on trails. I'll be sure to post your bill and everyones name that votes for it on one of their jogger boards.
If yuppie voters or joggers are jogging on my property its trespassing....7 days a week. If they want to jog on their own property or public property then so be it.
By adding one more day per week, we can expect a 16% increase in the rate of people being shot by arrows. So that's 0 x 1.16 = 0.
I'm OK with that.
Thank you Mr Welbert for all your efforts. Yuppies have no fear. All these bills get killed by the Religious Right, its an old blue law. They all fail in the Agricultural Committee ruled by Lee Ware and never even get a floor vote. Va is the last Southern State to Ban Sunday Hunting, has the highest hunter attrition rate in the nation,is #6 in deer related auto crashes and has no deer management plan. This is also a major public health issue.Loudon County has one of the highest Lyme Disease rates in the nation. Virginians need to contact Delegates and Senators statewide to demand action!
