With all thats wrong with Virginia, this bill Barks loud and clear why. How about pot Hole day, When the people in Government that order the low Quality Filler go out and fill pot holes that have already been filled 5 or 6 times already.

Gregg writes:

What a stupid waste of taxpayer time. Anyone associated with passing this bill should be fined $250.

Ed writes:

Obviously Stephen and Gregg know nothing about K9's and the service they provide our Nation every day on the battlefields and here on our homeland. They protect and serve our troops every day by sniffing out IED's and there were over 300 K9's that searched the rubble piles in New York after 911. President Obama signed legislation in January of this year declaring that our K9's were no longer considered equipment and there was a House resolution 740 introduced in Congress to Declare a K9 Veterans Day in our nation. Our troops consider them a brother/sister as they should be. There have been thousand of our troops that came home from the service because of the work or sacrifice make by a military K9. As a tax payer I applaud my General Assembly for Honoring there amazing K9's and giving them their day! Virginia is now the 13th state in our nation to pass K9 legislation!! Guys, get educated and watch "Glory Hounds" on the Animal Planet and maybe you will understand! I you think it is a wast of tax payer time then ask the families of a lost child that was returned home safely because a volunteer K9 team who located them or a soilder returns home to hold his child for the first time because a K9 sniffed out an IED and lost it's life in the process..enough said!!!!
