HR222: Celebrating the life of Joseph Brent Freeman.
WHEREAS, Joseph Brent Freeman, a man of many interests and talents who touched the lives of countless individuals over the course of his life, died on February 12, 2013; and
WHEREAS, a graduate of Douglas S. Freeman High School, Joseph “Joe” Freeman attended J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College and later studied audio engineering in New York City; and
WHEREAS, Joe Freeman worked in several different fields and pursued a variety of passions throughout his life, bringing to all of his endeavors a creative spirit and genuine commitment for the well-being of others; and
WHEREAS, a talented sculptor, Joe Freeman also loved music and science and was passionate about the welfare of animals; and
WHEREAS, a man with a giant heart and friendly smile, Joe Freeman enriched the lives of those with whom he came in contact and will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by many loving family members and friends; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Delegates hereby note with great sadness the loss of a beloved citizen of Richmond, Joseph Brent Freeman; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to the family of Joseph Brent Freeman as an expression of the House of Delegates’ respect for his memory.
