Description

Cigarette and other tobacco products taxes; electronic transactions. Authorizes (i) the Attorney General and the Department of Taxation to accept electronic filing of reports by stamping agents and manufacturers and (ii) the Department of Taxation to allow electronic purchase of cigarette tax stamps. Amends § 3.2-4209, § 58.1-1003, § 58.1-1008, § 58.1-1008.1, § 58.1-1009, § 58.1-1021.02:1, of the Code of Virginia. Read the Bill »
