Description

Uniform Real Property Transfer on Death Act; adoption. Codifies the Uniform Real Property Transfer on Death Act, which authorizes the creation of a transfer on death deed, which, when properly executed and recorded, passes title directly to named beneficiaries without probate upon the transferor's death. The uniform act was approved by the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws in 2009. The bill contains technical amendments. Read the Bill »
