Description

Littering and illegal dumping; community service. Provides that when a person is convicted of illegally dumping or disposing of garbage or refuse on public property or on private property without the permission of the owner, the court shall order a mandatory minimum of 10 hours of community service. Under current law, community service in litter abatement may be ordered in lieu of confinement in jail and is not mandatory. Read the Bill »
