Description

Alcoholic beverage control; renewal of licenses; payment of license tax and civil penalty. Authorizes the ABC Board to permit a licensee who fails to timely pay the required license tax and civil penalty to pay the tax in lieu of posting and publishing notice and reapplying, provided payment of the tax is made 45 days following the 30-day extension and is accompanied by a civil penalty of $100 or 25 percent of such tax, whichever is greater. The bill contains technical amendments. Amends § 4.1-203, of the Code of Virginia. Read the Bill »
