Commonwealth priority of projects and funding. Provides that all state funds expended on transportation projects be for (i) projects expected to provide congestion reduction or (ii) projects that increase safety for travelers. Read the Bill »

Comments
This bill seems that it would help to focus our vital transportation dollars onto projects that actually improve traffic congestion, not fund projects that have political or revenue motivation (such as the Bi County Parkway). Put out limited dollars into the traffic nightmares of the East West traffic in Northern Virginia.
