Description

Jury trial of right; demand; pleading. Provides that unless waived, any demand for a trial by jury made in any pleading filed with the court shall be sufficient, with no further hearing, notice, or order, to proceed with trial by a jury.The bill also reduces from $100 to $25 the minimum dollar amount necessarily sought in order for the whole matter to be heard by the court absent a waiver of a jury trial.
