Description
Civil immunity for members of or consultants to certain boards or committees; accreditation; health care providers. Expands the list of accreditation entities that may accredit health systems to include any entity granted authority to do so under the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. The bill also extends civil liability protection to members of, or consultants to, boards or committees established under guidelines approved or adopted by statewide or local associations representing licensed health care providers.
