Duty to kill a dog injuring livestock or poultry; limitation by locality. Allows certain localities by ordinance to limit or eliminate the duty of a local animal control officer to kill or seize a dog found in the act of injuring noncommercial poultry. The bill also allows localities to alter the rights of certain persons to kill dogs found chasing livestock or poultry. Amends § 3.2-6552, of the Code of Virginia. Read the Bill »
