Description

Health benefit exchange navigators; reputation; background checks. Prohibits an individual or entity from acting as a health benefit exchange navigator without (i) submitting to the State Corporation Commission information regarding the individual or entity's character and reputation for honesty and (ii) receiving notice that the Commission has determined that the individual or entity is of good character and has a good reputation for honesty. The required information shall include the same information, including background check requirements, that is required of an applicant for an insurance agent license. Read the Bill »
