Description
Student members of education boards. Adds one student member to the Board of Education, each local school board, the board of visitors of each four-year public institution of higher education, the State Board for Community Colleges, each local community college board, and the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia. The bill requires the Governor to make such appointments for two-year terms. The bill specifies that student members are voting members on all nonfiscal issues. Read the Bill »
