A BILL to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered 30-18.1, relating to appropriation act conference report.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 30-18.1 as follows:

§ 30-18.1. Appropriation act conference report.

The lead conferees of the appropriation act shall submit a copy of the conference committee report to the Division of Legislative Automated Systems to be published and available online for 36 hours before a vote may be taken on the report. Such report shall also be distributed to each member of the General Assembly before a vote is taken.
