Description

Carbon monoxide detectors; required installation in rental dwelling units. Amends the Virginia Residential Landlord and Tenant Act and other sections on landlord and tenant law to require landlords to install and maintain carbon monoxide detectors in all rental dwelling units. The bill also imposes an obligation on the tenant to not remove or tamper with a carbon monoxide detector. Read the Bill »
