Comments
The Secular Coalition for Virginia strongly opposes this bill because it further privileges religious groups over that of non-religious groups. If the General Assembly wants to give religious groups a pass on taxes or fees then the bill should be extended to include all non-profit groups. This particular bill is overly broad and exempts any religious institution from any state or local taxes thus creating a far greater burden for the rest of the community.
