Virginia Freedom of Information Act; proceeding for enforcement. Provides that in an enforcement action, if the court finds the public body violated certain meeting notice requirements, the court may invalidate any action of the public body taken at such meeting. Read the Bill »

This is an interesting bill -- not sure what the origin is, but it would allow courts to invalidate an action taken by a public body if that body violated certain notice provisions, in particular notice to those who annually sign up to receive meeting notices.
