Description

Sale of ivory and rhinoceros horn; penalty. Provides that a person who imports, sells, offers for sale, purchases, barters, or possesses with intent to sell any ivory, ivory product, rhinoceros horn, or rhinoceros horn product is guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor for a first offense and a Class 6 felony for a second or subsequent offense. The bill provides that products used in violation of the section will be forfeited to the Commonwealth. The bill has an effective date of January 1, 2016. Read the Bill »
