Description

Adoption; child in custody of prospective adoptive parent(s) for five years or more. Allows the juvenile and domestic relations district court to waive the home study and counseling requirements in an adoption proceeding if the child has been in the continuous legal and physical custody of the prospective adoptive parent(s) for five or more years.
