Description

Vehicle safety inspection fees. Increases the price of a vehicle safety inspection by $1 for each category of vehicle and allocates $0.50 of the additional $1 to the Department of State Police toward the Department's costs in administering the motor vehicle safety inspection program; the remaining $0.50 is retained by the inspection station. Instead of raising fees on working class Virginians how about cutting spending for a change of pace. First, it was adding the license tax to personal property taxes and then increasing that tax by 60%. Then it was tolls at bridges and tunnels. Now higher fees for state inspection. The Virginia General Assembly is greedy...remember who your work for.
