Plastic bags are of particular problem in waterways. Localities ought to have the local option.

Brenda Staab writes:

I think that this bill is a responsible and important step in protecting our environment, wildlife, and the overall appearance of our roadways, and waterways. Plastic bags are extremely harmful to the environment, and a particular problem for land mammals, as well as marine life. In no way does this bill put any hardship on consumers, as there are many alternatives to plastic bags.

Cathy Hamilton writes:

abolish the bag. Only makes sense to use environmentally sound alternatives.
