I believe there is a problem with the language. "Disability Pension" is a specific term of art used by the Department of Veterans Affairs, I would hope the author intends the bill to state "Disability Compensation." There wouldn't be more than a handful of people in the state that are on the Disability Pension rolls that have automobiles in the first place, so that would have negligible impact. Anyone recognized by the Department of Veterans Affairs as a Disabled Veteran on the Compensation rolls should be able to display a Disabled Veteran tag of some sort, without the handicapped parking entitlement which is a separate issue.
