Description

Regulation of health professions; updated terminology. Changes the term "respiratory care practitioner" to "respiratory therapist" throughout the Code of Virginia. The bill also changes the term "x-ray" to "ionizing radiation" in the context of the practice of radiologic technology and updates the definition of "radiologic technologist." Amends § 54.1-2900, § 54.1-2954, § 54.1-2956.01, § 54.1-3408, of the Code of Virginia. Read the Bill »
