Description

Court-appointed counsel; determination of indigency. Revises the method for determining whether an accused is indigent and thus eligible for court-appointed counsel in criminal cases. The bill also sets out how to calculate an accused's total financial resources. Amends § 19.2-159, § 19.2-163, of the Code of Virginia. Read the Bill »
