Description
Local cigarette tax; Montgomery and Pulaski Counties. Adds Montgomery and Pulaski Counties to the list of counties authorized to impose a local cigarette tax and requires that the revenue from such tax in those counties be used solely for school maintenance and construction. Current law provides that Arlington and Fairfax Counties may impose a local cigarette tax. The bill expires on June 30, 2025. Read the Bill »
