Description
Joint Rules Committee; employment of legal counsel. Authorizes the Joint Rules Committee of the General Assembly to employ legal counsel to represent the Commonwealth in litigation challenging the validity of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's proposed rules that establish carbon pollution emission guidelines for existing electric generating units, if the Committee finds that the Office of the Attorney General, by July 1, 2015, has not instituted and is not diligently pursuing legal action on behalf of the Commonwealth that challenges the validity of these proposed rules.
