Description

Retention of court case files. Requires that the circuit court and district court case files on crimes for which a person can be committed as a sexually violent predator be retained for 50 years. This provision already applies to juvenile court records. Amends § 16.1-69.55, § 17.1-213, of the Code of Virginia. Read the Bill »
