Description
Alcoholic beverage control; certain tobacco laws; enforcement by the Department of State Police; penalty. Transfers the enforcement of alcoholic beverage control laws and certain tobacco laws from the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board to the Department of State Police. As a result, the positions of special agents of the ABC Board are eliminated; however, the bill provides for the transfer of the special agents to the Department of State Police under certain circumstances. The bill contains technical amendments. The bill has a delayed effective date of July 1, 2017. Read the Bill »
