27th, REPORTED FROM THE COMMITTEE OF APPROPRIATIONS WITH AMENDMENT ON FEBRUARY 10th.

Del. Bill Howell (R-Fredericksburg): THE GENTLEMAN FROM SALEM.

[Unknown]: MR. SPEAKER, I MOVE ADOPTION OF THE AMENDMENT FROM THE COMMUNITY -- COMMITTEE ON APPROPRIATION. THE QUESTION ON THE ADOPTION OF THE COMMITTEE AMENDMENTS. AS MANY AS FAVOR THAT MOTION WILL SAY AYE; THOSE OPPOSED, NO. THE AMENDMENT IS AGREED TO. THIS BILL RELATES TO FEES PAID TO MEDIATORS IN CERTAIN DOMESTIC CASES, CAN YOU SAY DID DIFFICULT -- CUSTODY CASES. THE PEOPLE WHO VOTED AGAINST IT, I THINK DID BECAUSE IT INCREASED THEIR REIMBURSEMENT RATE FROM 100 TO $120. THAT PART WAS STRIPPED OUT OF THE BILL IN APPROPRIATIONS. SO THE ONLY THING THAT IS IN THE BILL, IT SAYS THAT THE MEDIATOR DEALS WITH BOTH CUSTODY AND VISITATION ISSUES AND SEPARATELY CHILD SUPPORT ISSUES, SUBJECT TO REIMBURSEMENT FOR TWO FEES, NOT JUST ONE. I BELIEVE DELEGATE PEACE OR SOMEBODY ELSE MAYBE HAS SOME LANGUAGE IN THE BUDGET DEALING
