THIS REIN TATES ARLINGTON -- REINSTATES ARLINGTON COUNTY ONE QUARTER OF ONE PERCENT TRANSIENT OCCUPANCY TAX. ALL OF THE PROCEEDS OF THIS TAX WILL BE GOING TO TOURISM PROMOTION IN ARLINGTON COUNTY. I'M SURE AS YOU ALL KNOW, BECAUSE OF SEQUESTRATION THERE HAS BEEN LESS GOVERNMENT TRAVEL, SO THE ENVIRONMENT IS REALLY COMPETITIVE AND ARLINGTON WOULD VERY MUCH LIKE TO HAVE THESE FUNDS FOR PROMOTING TOURISM IN VIRGINIA AND ARLINGTON, OF COURSE. THANK YOU.

Del. Bill Howell (R-Fredericksburg): THANK YOU, SENATOR. THE QUESTION IS SHALL SENATE BILL 160 PASS. ALL IN FAVOR OF THE MOTION WILLS AYE, THOSE OPPOSED NO. ARE THE SENATORS READY TO VOTE? HAVE ALL THE SENATORS VOTED? DO ANY SENATORS DESIRE TO CH ANGE THEIR VOTE? THE CLERK WILL CLOSE THE ROLL.
