This is a transcript of the video clips in which this bill is discussed.

FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT AND EXPANDS THE EXEMPTIONS OF RECORDS NOT DISCLOSED TO THE PUBLIC. IN FACT IT CREATES A NEW POLICY OF RECORDS THAT ARE KEPT SECRET WHICH ARE THE APPLICATIONS OF TEACHERS AND OTHER SCHOOL PERSONNEL. ALL THE WAY FROM ELEMENTARY TO PUBLIC UNIVERSITIES. AND APPLICATIONS ARE, IN ESSENCE, A RESUME, AND THEREFORE,HE QUALIFICATIONS OF THESE INSTRUCTORS AND ESSENTIALLY EVERYBODY, EVEN SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS, ARE NOW KEPT FROM THE PUBLIC. I JUST -- I DO NOT BELIEVE IT'S MOVING IN A POSITIVE DIRECTION OF GREATER TRANSPARENCY FOR OUR CITIZENS, AND THAT'S WHY I WILL NOT BE SUPPORTING SENATE BILL 564. THANK YOU.
