Description
Constitutional amendment (first resolution); real property tax exemption. Provides that the General Assembly may provide a local option for the real property tax exemption for the primary residence of any law-enforcement officer, firefighter, search and rescue personnel, or emergency medical services personnel who has been determined to have a 100 percent service-connected, permanent, and total disability or the surviving spouse of a law-enforcement officer, firefighter, search and rescue personnel, or emergency medical services personnel who was killed in the line of duty.
