Description

Collection of court costs by DMV. Requires the Executive Secretary of the Supreme Court to enter into an agreement with the Commissioner of the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) for the collection of court fines, costs, forfeitures, and penalties and court-ordered restitution at DMV customer service centers. Currently, such agreement is permissible but not required. The bill allows for payment of such fines, costs, forfeitures, penalties, and restitution in an installment plan. Read the Bill »
