Description

Treatment of a patient for Lyme disease. Provides that when a patient elects treatment in accordance with a clinical practice guideline maintained by the National Guideline Clearinghouse for the treatment of Lyme or tick-borne disease and has been informed of the risks and benefits of such treatment, no health care provider shall be the subject of an investigation or hearing by the Board of Medicine for such treatment, absent gross negligence or willful misconduct.
