This is a transcript of the video clips in which this bill is discussed.

RELATING TO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE CONTROL, SPIRITS TASTINGS BY DISTILLER LICENSEES. SHALL THE BILL PASS? THE CLERK WILL CLOSE THE ROLL. AYES 92, NOS SIX. AYES 92, NOS SIX, THE BILL
HOUSE BILL 1350. THE SENATOR FROM SPOTSYLVANIA, SENATOR REEVES.

Sen. Bryce Reeves (R-Spotsylvania): THANK YOU, MR. PRESIDENT. THIS IS ANOTHER ONE OF THE ALCOHOL BILLS THAT HAS TO DO WITH DISTILLERS AND IT ALLOW THEMSELVES TO GIVE SAMPLE SPIRITS ON PREMISE UNDER THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS. THAT THE SPIRITS OR SAMPLED ARE MANUFACTURED WITHIN THE SAME LICENSED PREMISES OR ON CONTIGUOUS PREMISES OF SUCH AGENT LICENSED AS A DISTILLERY, NO SINGLE SAMPLE EXCEEDING ONE HALF OUNCE OF SPIRS AND UNLESS SERVED AS A MIXED BEVERAGE IN WHICH CASE A SINGLE SAMPLE MAY CONTAIN UP TO 1 1/2 OUNCES OF SPIRITS. NO MORE THAN THREE OUNCES OF SPIRITS MAYBE GIVEN OR SOLD TO ANY PERSON PER DAY. I BELIEVE THIS BILL IS VERY SIMILAR TO THE SENATOR FROM BATH AND THE SENATOR FROM BUCKINGHAM, MAYBE A COUPLE WORDS OFF. THIS IS ALREADY ALLOWED FOR BEER, WINE AND CIDER. IT'S LIKELY NOT TO HAVE A FISCAL IMPACT. THAT'S THE BILL.

Del. Bill Howell (R-Fredericksburg): THE QUESTION IS SHALL HOUSE BILL 1350 PASS. RECORD THEIR VOTES AYE, THOSE OPPOSED NO. ARE THE SENATORS READY TO VOTE? HAVE ALL THE SENATORS VOTED? DO ANY SENATORS DESIRE TO CHANGE THEIR VOTE?
