Description

Prescription of opioids and benzodiazepines; urine drug screening. Provides that prior to initiating a course of treatment that includes the prescription of opioids or benzodiazepines for a period that is expected to last more than 90 consecutive days, a physician shall establish the medical and treatment history of the patient, which shall include performing a physical examination of the patient and may include urine drug screening.
