Description

Fines and costs; interest; statutes of limitation on collection; minimum payments. Waives interest on all fines and costs during any term of incarceration, not just incarceration for the instant crime. The bill also clarifies that the general statutes of limitation apply to collection of fines and costs. The bill requires the Committee on District Courts to establish guidelines, including minimum payments, for deferred or installment payment agreements. Read the Bill »
