Description

Virginia Board for Asbestos, Lead, and Home Inspectors; licensing of home inspectors. Provides that beginning July 1, 2017, home inspectors must be licensed by the Virginia Board for Asbestos, Lead, and Home Inspectors (the Board). Currently home inspectors must be certified. The bill also provides that certain provisions shall become effective on July 1, 2016 to enable the Board to commence regulatory activity contemplated by this bill to establish the licensure of home inspectors.
