Description
Candidates; filing of statements of economic interests. Clarifies that candidates for statewide office, the General Assembly, and constitutional office are required to file a statement of economic interests with the Virginia Conflict of Interest and Ethics Advisory Council. The bill also requires the Council to transmit certain information related to such candidates to the State Board of Elections and updates language to reflect the change from annual to semiannual disclosures.
