Tom Hoffman writes:

These gas companies are too powerful, and they stomp upon the Constitutional rights of ordinary citizens. The MVP project is not like a highway which would benefit everybody. MVP is a private corporation whose only motive is private profit. Virginains will not benefit from this pipeline, so the company should not have the power of eminent domain to pursue its profits.

Pam humphrey writes:

Please allow all delegates to make their constituents' desires known by voting on this bill. We property owners along the proposed route(s) have had our questions go unanswered. We have seen MVP contractors engage in devious and misleading behaviors.
We doubt the competency and the integrity of this company and have no reason to trust them in any way. To allow them unsupervised access to my land from any route at any time is virtually unthinkable.
Shouldn't our State Corporation Commission oversee companies coming to and through Virginia? Shouldn't they police their activities, insisting on truth, integrity and demonstrable expertise before granting licensure?

Susan S. Edwards writes:

Please make these Private Natural Gas Companies accountable for their criminal environmental destruction of OUR PROPERTIES!
